Malad Idaho Stake FamilySearch Center serves most of Oneida County and is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Located 13 miles north of the Utah Border on I-15; residing in the west part of the valley at the east end of the Malad Stake Building, the FamilySearch Center is an important and integral part of the Malad Valley. The center has an outstanding historical collection of the county as well as 12 computers available for online research. Knowledgeable and friendly specialists are always ready to help anyone who enters the doors. These specialists are ready to help you research on one of the computers or preserve your photos, documents, and your old slides with the fast photo scanner, flat bed scanner, and the slide scanner. You are also welcome to bring your own laptop or devices to the center along with your family history research, your memories and photos so you can preserve your heritage.
