Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question 1[edit | edit source]

Question 1: Some records are missing. Where can they be viewed?
Answer 1: See answers below for information about known missing records and their respective film numbers, if available, or alternate online location:

Baptismal records for Catania > Santa Maria della Mercede can be found at Italy, Catania, Diocesi di Acireale, Catholic Church Records, 1560-1941 > Catania > Santa Maria della Mercede.

Baptismal and marriage records for Catania > San Biagio can be found at Italy, Catania, Diocesi di Acireale, Catholic Church Records, 1560-1941 > Catania > San Biagio.

Records for Catania > Colleggiata > Matrimoni 1589-1894, have records missing for 1695-1700.

Question 2[edit | edit source]

Question 2: The Event Type and Year Range (waypoint) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. Is there a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer 2: The following list of known waypoint discrepancies describes the event type or year range that actually exist in this collection:

Catania > Colleggiata > Matrimoni 1589-1894 should read as Battesimi 1690-1712, Matrimoni 1589-1894. The baptismal records are located in Images 874-1198 of 2657.

Catania > Verginelle > Matrimoni 1789-1870 year span is really 1763-1870.
