:The Panama Canal Museum is located in a beautifully restored building that was once the office space of the French Canal Company, the U.S. Isthmian Canal Commission offices and then, in 1912, the main Post Office. It is full of artifacts and information.  The Interoceanic Canal Museum of Panama is a permanent, non-profit institution, at the service of society and its development, open to the public; that acquires, preserves, investigates, interprets, disseminates and exposes the testimonies of the history of Panama and its Canal, for education, knowledge and the delight of the public that visits it.
