Brief History[edit | edit source]
- Organized in July 1861.
- The unit served at Yorktown and in the Richmond area, then participated in the Maryland Campaign.
- It was later broken up and the officers and men joined other Virginia artillery commands.
- Captains were Bernard Roemer and William H. Turner.
- AKA - Roemer's-Turner's Battery
