  • The Lawrence KS Family History Center has a collection of over 750 microfilm and 1200 microfiche on indefinite loan from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City that can be viewed in the center.

  • Family History Center Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

The Midwest Genealogy Center is the largest free-standing public genealogy library in the United States with 52,000 square feet of resources for family history researchers, including over 5,000 periodicals and 82,600 reference books as well as 16,000 circulating books, 470,000 microfilm/fiche, and an abundance of maps and archival materials.[1]
