This month's class will be taught remotely. Learn how to use a variety of tools along with web searches to research your family tree, find your ancestors and stay organized. I'll be covering lots of things including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Maps, Google Translate and Google Books. I'll talk about each of these tools and explain how to use them.

I'll show examples of how I use Google Drive in my own family history research to have easy access to my info anywhere. I've used Google Sheets to track and organize thousands of ancestors and their descendants for DNA and other research. I use Google Maps to locate my ancestors' homes and validate location research. I use Google Translate to understand non-English source records. I use Gmail to organize genealogy collaboration. This class will take you through a tour of all of these various tools and after attending you'll have a better understanding of how they work together to help you find your ancestors.

To do this we must touch on the FamilySearch wiki and other means of increasing our own ability as Family Historians.
