Project[edit | edit source]

The purpose of this project is to find URL links for digitized histories of U.S. regiments.

Instructions[edit | edit source]

Task List

1.[edit | edit source]

Open the Task List link above

2.[edit | edit source]

Open Archive.org

3.[edit | edit source]

On the task list, put your name on the spread sheet in the "name column".

4.[edit | edit source]

In the Archives.org search bar, search for the name of the regiment + the state: ex. 15th Regiment Alabama.

5.[edit | edit source]

If no results show up, don't worry, books for every regiment have not been digitized.

6.[edit | edit source]

If you do find a digitized history of the regiment, click on it, and copy the URL

7.[edit | edit source]

Past the URL link into the appropriate spot on the spreadsheet.
