When a page in the wiki has the delete template added to the page, the page appears on the list of all pages that contain the delete template. What happens to the page after it's deleted when the template was still on the page at the moment the delete action was taken? This is hard to describe, but I was thinking that since deleted pages can be restored, then the page exists somewhere. So does the delete template on the deleted page still force the page to be added to a list of delete requests? Bottom line is - should the delete template be removed from the page prior to deleting the page? --[[User:JensenFA|Fran]] 16:12, 28 January 2010 (UTC) | When a page in the wiki has the delete template added to the page, the page appears on the list of all pages that contain the delete template. I like the wording change to be more of a proposal. The person who adds the template to the page should also explain why they are proposing the deletion. The wording change only included the request for the whole page. Is there a need to have another template for proposing the deletion of a section of a page? -[[User:JensenFA|Fran]] 17:00, 10 September 2010 (UTC) |
