NOTE: Most missing records are available on microfilm which can be viewed at the Family History Library or some FamilySearch Centers.

Question #1: Some records are missing. Where can they be viewed?
Answer #1: See answers below for information about known missing records and their respective film numbers, if available, or alternate online location:

Baptismal records for Catania > Santa Maria della Mercede can be found at Italy, Catania, Diocesi di Acireale, Catholic Church Records, 1560-1941 > Catania > Santa Maria della Mercede.

Baptismal and marriage records for Catania > San Biagio can be found at Italy, Catania, Diocesi di Acireale, Catholic Church Records, 1560-1941 > Catania > San Biagio.

Records for Catania > Colleggiata > Matrimoni 1589-1894, have records missing for 1695-1700.

Question #2: The Event Type and Year Range (waypoint) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. Is there a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer #2: The following list of known waypoint discrepancies describes the event type or year range that actually exist in this collection:

Catania > Colleggiata > Matrimoni 1589-1894 should read as Battesimi 1690-1712, Matrimoni 1589-1894. The baptismal records are located in Images 874-1198 of 2657.

Catania > Verginelle > Matrimoni 1789-1870 year span is really 1763-1870.
