For a successful experience, consider the following:

  • Full-size VHS tapes.
  • Rewind tapes or set at start point before coming, if possible, to maximize time
  • Expect about one hour of video content during a session with half hour of setup/wrap up
  • Please bring an external USB drive with at least 16G or more of available space for a single session
  • A DVD is made from your VHS.
  • Plan to complete all efforts within the scheduled time period
  • Do not bring tapes with commercial content or copyrighted material, only family-related videos
  • Please bring your own DVD's
  • The video conversion equipment is to be used only with the assistance of a trained technology missionary. The video conversion station may be reserved for one and a half hour session, with an hour recording and one half hour to finalize the DVD. Considering the large number of patrons desiring to convert video tapes, patrons may only reserve two sessions per week.
