Tuesday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Wednesday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

If you have done nothing or very little in family history this is the class for you. This class will answer your basic questions. 

Get started now.  

Beginner                
  • You have nothing in FamilySearch. org
  • You have less than four generations that you have entered.  
  • This class will help you learn to use basic skills in family search
January Thurs. 18 6:30 PM THE BEGINNING, A VERY GOOD PLACE TO START:

January Thurs. 25 6:30 PM HOW TO NAVIGATE TOWARD YOUR DESTINATION:

You understand the basics but have questions, such as:  why and how do I standardize, how do I add and edit information and 

more.

Intermediate Beginner
  • You have four generations that you entered.  
  • You will learn to navigate Family Search detail page and other basic information
  • You understand the 110 rule and its importance.
February Thurs. 15 6:30 PM LET US GIVE YOU A HINT:

Hints are easy to find and have great value in sourcing your Information.  Learn to use them as you get names ready for

the temple.

Intermediate
  • You feel competent regarding the Beginner, Intermediate Beginner and Advanced Beginner requirements.
  • Finding sources by using Family Search, hints, census records, green temples, Descendancy, etc. Find resolve duplicates.
February Thurs. 22 6:30 PM LET US GIVE YOU A HINT:

Hints are easy to find and have great value in sourcing your Information.  Learn to use them as you get names ready for

the temple.

Intermediate
  • You feel competent regarding the Beginner, Intermediate Beginner and Advanced Beginner requirements.
