The Payson Family History Center is located in the "Old Seminary building" kitty corner from the town swimming complex. People of all ages-young and old- are invited to learn how to find your roots or discover your family history. Knowledgeable consultants are here to guide and answer questions. Our services are provided free to the public. A nominal fee is charged for copies.

YOUTH FAMILY HISTORY EVENT DURING FALL BREAK- THURSDAY OCTOBER 20TH AT 11:30 AM AT THE PAYSON FAMILY HISTORY CENTER. LEARN APPS, GAMES, SCANNING, FAMILY SEARCH AND HAVE PIZZA! FOR YOUTH AGE 12 TO 18! THIS CLASS WILL BE TAUGHT BY OLIVIA JEWELL, ASSISTANT FAMILY HISTORY CENTER DIRECTOR AND 2017 ROOTS TECH PRESENTER!

1) October 25th 2016- "COMING TO YOUR CENSUS" Taught by Bret Petersen, Past President of the Utah Genealogical Association. Bret has taught family history for years and just presented at the Payson Family History Discovery Day.
We only have room for 40 patrons!

Let the Payson Family History Center help your Scouts receive their Genealogy Merit Badge. We have Merit Badge certified consultants to assist you. Call the Center to arrange for your group to come.
