• We are located in the same building as the Highland Utah FM Group (Map) which is on the North West Side of the Developmental Center Chapel located directly West and across the street from the Mt. Timpanogos Temple

Please Note: We are closed whenever the Mt. Timpanogos Utah Temple is closed for Holidays or Maintenance.

** By Appointment => Shift opens as scheduled. Remains open as scheduled as long as patrons are using the center or there is an appointment that shift. Those without appointments are welcome, but you should call first to make sure the center is open.

Monday, November 7 through Monday, November 21, 2016 while the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple is closed.

Family Tree

Family Tree is an approach to organizing and recording your genealogy online. It has powerful tools for data accuracy, usability, and collaboration. It is a way to work together to do genealogy. Family Tree development is ongoing and aggressive, so you can expect frequent updates, including additional training materials. Family Tree is intended to become the most accurate representation of an ancestral line.

Youth Groups

We always look forward to working with Ward Youth Groups!

Please call center to make an appointment for your group prior to your visit.

Prior to coming please make sure all youth already have their LDS account to use for Indexing or to access New Family Search. Please click on the following link for more information LDS Account Registration

If your youth group is coming for help with New Family Search please have them bring information on at least one of their deceased ancestors to research.

Create your FREE Color Genealogy 9 Generation Fan Chart

To create your FREE Color Genealogy 9 Generation Fan Chart please go to Create Fan. You will be requested to log into you FamilySearch account so the software can gather your ancestral information from FamilySearch. This will generate a PDF document that you can save or print.

Note: The 9 generations printed form FamilySearch.org may not be accurate unless individuals have cleaned up and verified their ancestors as far back as 9 generations.

Microfilm - Online Ordering

Microfilm ordering is now done online and is no longer required to be done at a FHC by doing the following steps:

1. Find film number by searching using the FamilySearch Catalog
2. Then order film online at Online Film Ordering NOTE: Be sure to select the Mount Timpanogos Family History Center as the Center/library you want it sent to, or it might go to a different FHC.
3. Then email us with your name and email addresses/phone number with your film number(s) and we will notify you when we receive your film(s) and it is available at our FHC! E-mail: ut_mounttimpanogos@ldsmail.net
   

You can order the microfilm for two lengths of time:

• Short-term loan - With this loan, films must be returned within 90 days. A 60-day renewal option is available after your short-term loan expires.
• Indefinite loan - The film will remain at the FHC indefinitely.

• Short-term film loan $7.50 {must be returned after 90 days}
  
• Short-term film loan extension $7.50 {must be returned after extending for additonal 60-days}
  
• Indefinite film loan $18.75 {Remains at the library/center indefinitely}
