Maps of districts (povit) with villages existing about 1900 for the areas of Ukraine from which people emigrated to Alberta, Canada can be found at the website of the Ukrainian Cultural Village. This is not a direct link to the maps. From the link you need to click on menu in the column on the left, then choose "Multimedia", then choose "Historical Maps".
Villages can be located on Google Maps using the spelling found in the FamilySearch Catalog
