I've changed the style of this template to mirror Template:Pov more closely as this is the style that I'll be making some other maintenance templates in the near future. Of course, they can all be changed as needed. Molliewog 20:17, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Creation of template
I've changed the wording on this template so that the main "delete" template is for inapproriate content. Given that inappropriate content is that which we want to delete the fastest, I think it should have the easiest template name to remember when it comes to deletion. For other sysop deletion requests, we can create new templates that more accurately describe the reason to delete (like duplicate images). Molliewog 18:59, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you Steve for adding the comment parameter. We would like to edit this template (and all other templates) to include the documentation and examples by using the Documentation template. I noticed the comment parameter was added to this template, but users don't typically know to make use of the parameter. Instead of adding these instructions inside the 'noinclude' statement to the template page itself (which is how the templates are operating today), the preference is to move all instructions to the /Doc sub-page and then transclude the details onto the template page. (I'm still learning the terminology, so I hope that I am making sense.) Thanks again, Fran 19:14, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
