I think it would be easiest to piggyback of what other wikis have done. People who begin contributing may already be used to these conventions. For example, the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style Wikipedia Manual of Style] gives some great ideas on what our conventions should be.
