The history of religion in the countries that now comprise Belarus could be only called at best, extremely tumultous.
Sadly, the history of religions practiced in these areas include persecution, pogroms, forced conversions, exiled and imprisoned practicioners and leadership. Before and during Word War II Romand Catholics were slaughtered and the nightmare called the Holocaust decimated Jewish populations.
