Coming Events Saturday, October 5, 2013 - Closed for the LDS General Conference SwedGen Tour 2013/Swedish Genealogy Day in the FamilySearch Library – Saturday, October 12 -The Oakland FamilySearch Library will be hosting the SwedGen genealogists and Kathy Meade, North American representative for ArkivDigital for an amazing day of Swedish research classes and individual 30 minute consultations. Topics include: ArkivDigital (Using Swedish church records online); DISBYT,DIS family tree database (The Computer Genealogy Society of Sweden); EmiWeb (covering immigration & emigration); Lantmäteriet (Swedish mapping, cadastral & land registration authority); Swedish online and CD resources and Swedish culture.
