Known Issues

Question #1: Are there any death records for the Province of Natal, for the Diocese and Parish of Mid-Illovo and Richmond, St. Margaret?
Answer #1: Yes, in the file for the Province of Natal and the Diocese and Parish of Mid-Illovo and Richmond, St. Margaret there are death records for the years 1896-1985 in the file titled Baptisms 1898-1953, marriages 1913-1975.

Question #2: The records found at South Africa > Cape of Good Hope > Cape Town, Bellville and Durbanville, All Saints > Baptisms 1859-1971 are marriage records. Where are the baptism records?
Answer #2: The South Africa > Cape of Good Hope > Cape Town, Bellville and Durbanville, All Saints > Baptisms 1859-1971 have been mislabeled as Baptisms instead of Marriages. There are no Baptism records.

Question #3: There appear to be some records missing from the set of records found at South Africa > Cape of Good Hope > Cape Town, Rondebosch, St Paul > Marriages 1907-1923. Where can I see them?
Answer #3:

• Pages 170 and 171 should be found after image 87. However, this record was missed in filming and is not available.
  
• Page 138 found on image 179 is partially covered by a certificate. The record obscured by the certificate is not available.

Question #4: Baptism records found at South Africa > Cape of Good Hope > Cape Town, St Mark > Baptisms 1849-1903 only start at 1894. Where are the records from 1849 to 1894?
Answer #4: The browse point has a typographical error. The records are from 1894-1903 not 1849-1903.

Question #5: I can not find any records before 1910 in the collection found at South Africa > Cape of Good Hope > Kimberley, St. Cyprian > Marriage banns 1871-1937. Where can I see the earlier records?
Answer #5: The browse point name is misleading. The records start at 1910 and include records up to 1964. The records are not necessarily in chronological order.
