FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Center, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.

  • Our entrance is on the left side (west) side of the building. after entereing the parking lot mark in front of the chapel steeple and come to the door and ring the buzzer, we will let you in.  You are always welcome.  If our time are inconvient call my self Carl Rigtrup at 425 271-1614 or cell 206 719-4021 and we can make other arrangements

  • Thursday: 10 to 1 pm

Collections[edit | edit source]

  • Family History Library Catalog:; This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog. if you temporarly assign your film online search to our center, you can see what films we have on hand. May save a charge to order your film at other local centers, then you have the choice to either may the $7.00 charge or drive to visit our center.  BUT don't forget if you choose to reset your home Center to that of your choice. or all future orders will come to our center.
  • (We have approximatly 500 microfilms in our cabinet and an untold number (actually about 21 inches) of microfiche including the 1881 Scotland, England and Wales Census.  Mand of our patrons doing active research in Italy and Eastern Europe. Lot of bi-lingual conversations going on I listen (but do not participate). Welcome your presence and participation in this activity.)
  • We have gone cash-less with the advent of on-line film ordering.

Hardware and Equipment[edit | edit source]

  • We currently have six computers connected to the internet and WIFI is avail for lap top or CAT5 connection. We currently are connected through Dish but will be upgrading to Comcast near term.
    We have five microfilm readers, two microfiche readers and a Canon 300 film scanner attached to a PC for saving film images. It gets a lot of use, bring a zip drive for off-line storage though CD's can be burned. at no cost.
