Task Description[edit | edit source]

Add links to Find A Grave and other online cemetery records for each of the 29 counties in Utah.

Steps[edit | edit source]

Step 1: Prepare the county Wiki page under the "Cemeteries" heading[edit | edit source]

If there already something there for this county, make space for what you will be adding by simply moving that information further down from the "Cemeteries heading". We don't want to change it or remove it at this time.

Step 2: Copy and paste Cemetery blurb and begin Find A Grave[edit | edit source]

A) Copy (using WikiText): {{UTCoCemeteries}}

[How to do it: Highlight starting with Template:And ending with then press the Ctrl + C keys]

B) Paste (using WikiText) immediately under the Cemeteries heading of the county page.

[How to do it: Put your cursor below the "Cemeteries" heading and press Ctrl + V keys.]

Cemetery records often reveal birth, death, relationship, military, and religious information. The spouse and children who died young are frequently buried nearby.

More than tombstone inscriptions, cemetery records include sextons (caretakers) records and interment (burial) records, each with slightly different information. See Utah Cemeteries.

Step 3: Finish the Find A Grave information[edit | edit source]

A) Copy (using WikiText) the following -- including the asterisk (*)

B) Paste it (using WikiText) in front of the words "Find A Grave]" on the county page.

[If pasting moved "Find A Grave]" to the next line, delete the carriage return.]
