.Out-of-date information (priority 2)[edit | edit source]

Old information leads all Wiki users to incorrect information and/or broken links.  
 
  • Why fix:
Better use of the Wiki and better results.  Users/contributors should be able to trust that the information they are accessing is as up to date, as possible.

  • How to report:
Use the template {{outdated}}
 
  • Steps to resolve: Click on Outdated information, and click on an article.
  1. Review the article to see what is needed.
  • Some may only need updating of links.
  • Some may need to be merged with another article.
2.  Search for other articles that cover the subject.
3.  Check to see if there is anything new or important in the outdated article.  If so, add a paragraph in the updated article and put a {{delete}} template on the out-of-date article, after removing the {{outdated}} template.
4.  If nothing new is found, clear the {{outdated}} template and add the {{delete}} template.
5.  If another article is not found and the content is good, you may want to re-write the article to update it.
