:The Diocese of Hereford covers '''parishes in Herefordshire, South Shropshire, and parts of Worcestershire, Monmouthshire and Powys.''' These documents date from the thirteenth century onwards and cover a wide range of the Diocese's functions through to the present day. Latin was the preferred language of many of these documents until 1732.

:The Museum Resource and Learning Centre is the central storage facility for the county’s museum collections and where collections not on show at the service’s sites across the county are stored and cared for; natural history, geology, coins, costume and textiles, archaeology, social and agricultural history.

:Hereford Museum and Art Gallery is housed in a spectacular Victorian gothic building. The museum has been exhibiting artefacts and works of fine and decorative art connected with the local area since 1874. Although the exterior of the building has changed very little, the museum and gallery have kept up with the times. Today the museum is full of interesting local history with interactive elements for all the family. Exhibits highlight Herefordshire's local culture, its heritage in farming and production, the natural environment and its special place as a border county. :Leominster Museum, formerly known as Leominster Folk Museum, tells the story of Leominster and its people from pre-Roman times to the present day. The collection comprises artefacts, pictures, photographs, postcards and documents, including an important collection of paintings and drawings by famous Leominster Victorian artist John Scarlett Davis.

:The Black and White House is a remarkably well preserved example of a 17th Century timber-framed building and is situated in the heart of Hereford. Built in 1621, the house has been used for many purposes over the years, starting life as a butcher's home and shop and finishing its commercial life in the hands of Lloyds Bank in the late 1920s. Since 1929 it has been a fascinating museum giving an insight into daily life in Jacobean times. It is furnished in period style with an internationally important collection of English oak furniture.
