Tuesday, April 2, 10:30 am, Jim Banner will be teaching “Make a ‘Stories of My Life’ Video.” Fortunately, Jim is one of our regular presenters. He also serves as a Temple and Family History Consultant for the Dry Creek Branch (Care Center), has 20+ years experience with family history, and has served as a FamilySearch Support Missionary for about four years. Jim knows all the ins and outs of creating a life story, how to efficiently record it, and effectively teach it. Having a life story is of great value. We are confident you will benefit from attending his class.
Wednesday, April 10, 1:00 pm, Virginia Temple will be teaching “Roots Magic.” This award-winning genealogy software makes researching, organizing, and sharing your family history easy! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced professional, RootsMagic is the perfect tool for you! This program is easy-to-use to help you unite past, present, and future generations. Virginia is very knowledgeable, and we are confident you will benefit from this class. She will show you how it works with FamilySearch and Ancestry, allowing you to transfer information from one to the other. Come see for yourself why Family Tree Magazine called RootsMagic, “Probably the best all-around genealogy program, . . . offering a winning combination of features for both casual and serious genealogists.” Attend Virginia’s class to learn how your family history can be taken to the next level.

Thursday, April 4, 7:00 pm, Carren Crossley and Dustin Myers will be teaching “Using storied.com.” Stories are a vital part of family history. Although names, dates and locations are necessary on a family tree, stories make everything more interesting, they give us an overall picture of a person’s life, and allow us to actually know a person we may not have ever met. For these reasons and many others, you will want to join this class to learn how to use storied. It allows you to add stories and memories to the people in your family tree. It’s a place to capture snapshots of life for future generations. This is a class you won’t want to miss. Come meet these presenters and learn valuable information to make your family tree come alive!

Thursday, April 11, 7:00 pm, Shaunese Luthy will be teaching “Using Military Records.” Family history is an “art” to Shaunese. Allow her to share her talent and knowledge with you by attending this class. Shaunese will show how military records can provide unique facts and insights into the lives of men and women who have served in the armed forces. These wonderful records may include dates of birth and death, residence, names and addresses of family members, military rank and affiliation, among other details. Such valuable information will enhance your family history and be an incredible addition to what you have already found. Shaunese has her degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University and runs her own Genealogy business
