Description of the Library System[edit | edit source][1]The A.B.B.E. Regional Library System (The Aiken-Bamberg-Barnwell-Edgefield Regional Library System) is headquaterred in Aiken in the basement of the Aiken County Library. There are 14 branches and a bookmobile associated with the system. They consist of both large and small libraries. Each library has its own hours and directors. But the ABBE Regional office acts as a central ordering facility for all branches. Branches in the ABBE Regional Library System include: Aiken County
Bamberg County Barnwell County Edgefield County Digital Library: The ABBE Regional Library System has a digital collection that can be checked out by library card holders. Digital items can be checked out from the Regional Library. The offerings there include biographies and historical items.
