Because of its location in the Gold Rush area, Tuolumne County Genealogical Society Library emphasizes the Gold Rush district. This includes the "Gone West Index" of early miners and California settlers, photos, church records, cemetery records, vital records, voter registrations, and censuses. They also have over 1000 books about all states and some nations, family histories, school yearbooks, and some periodicals.[1] [2]
