Instructions[edit | edit source]

Part 1 - Analyze the Collection Link[edit | edit source]

1. Locate a collection to add on the New Collections Spreadsheet: All - Formatted List tab.

2. Add your name to column B to sign up for that new collection.

3. Click on the link for the new collection found in Column F.

4. Review the description of the collection to see where the information was obtained from.

a. If the information states that is from FamilySearch, skip to Part 3.

Examples of Wording:
Original data: Austria, Births and Baptisms, 1651-1940. Salt Lake City, Utah: FamilySearch, 2013.

b. If the name and dates of the collection, match FamilySearch or another website, skip to Part 3.


c. If there is no indication that this is the same databases from FamilySearch, go to Part 2.

Part 2 - Creating the Collection Link[edit | edit source]

1. Open up a Sandbox page where you can create the new link.

2. Create the new link by using the following wikitext code listed below:
