Brief History

The 22nd Regiment, Connecticut Infantry was organized at Hartford, Connecticut and mustered in on the 20th day of September, 1862.  This regiment mustered out July 7, 1863.

Companies in this Regiment

Men often enlisted in a company recruited in the counties where they lived though not always.
