Research Experience:
Our Ogden FamilySearch Center missionaries are eager to assist you with your FamilySearch Family Tree, your own research for records from around the world, and with your scanning and converting photos, documents and media. 43 state-of-the-art computers are available on the second floor, with premium genealogical and historical websites to aid in your personal research. A few computers are available next to the Children’s Area on the main floor so that parents can do their family history work without leaving their children unattended. Missionaries are eager to help you one-on-one and in small groups with family history questions and problem solving. We hope to see you soon. No reservation is necessary.
As we open our doors back up July 26th, we want to inform you of a needed system-wide maintenance and update that is happening right now with FamilySearch. Partner websites accessible through the Family History Center Portal, like Ancestry and My Heritage, and limited access collections are temporarily unavailable. We will share when this is working again but wanted you to know before coming in. If there are records you need access to, you can reach out to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT. They have a record look-up service for documents/records you may need during this outage. Their website link is [https://www.familysearch.org/family-history-library/welcome-to-the-family-history-libraryl-/view?usp=sharing Here]
