Indexing turns the records into searchable sources, allowing researchers to find and attach them to ancestors in their family tree in FamilySearch. This Basic Indexing class will introduce you to Web Indexing in Family Search. You will learn how to index, how to navigate the Indexing site and the importance of Indexing in Family Tree. A variety of records are available to index that are appropriate for anyone ages 11 to 111. A group of records can typically be indexed in just 15-30 minutes. You will learn how to access help for the various indexing projects.
