What is in This Collection?[edit | edit source]
This collection contains images of Ahnenpäße, or ancestor passports from the Halberstadt Kreisarchiv, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Basically, an ancestor passport was a declaration of pure Aryan lineage issued especially during the Nazi period in Germany.

If listed, a personal title may be a clue to property ownership or occupation, either of which might be noted in other records
- Try variations of given names and surnames. A person might have been listed under a middle name, nickname, or abbreviation of their given name
