NOTA: Por la ley aprobada el 5 de Abril de 1945, todo Boliviano nacido antes de 1940, y que por lo tanto no esta inscrito en el Registro Civil, debería obtener un certificado de nacimiento mediante la presentación de su fe de bautismo o de testigos. En ambos casos la inscripción es anotada en libros especiales de nacimiento.

1898 AL PRESENTE Matrimonios: Fecha, nombres y apellidos de los contrayentes, nacionalidad, lugar de nacimiento, domicilio, profesión u ocupación, edad, raza, religión, grado de instrucción, idioma o dialecto que habla, monto de los beines que posee, estado civil, observaciones (si la persona no sabe firmar su nombre, deberá estampar su huella digital); nombres, apelidos, y domicilio de los padres; nombres y apellidos de los abuelos paternos y testigos.
NOTA: En la misma partida existe un espacio para la cancelación de los matrimonios (divorcio) en la cual se anota: fecha en la que se dicto la sentencia del divorcio, nombres y apellidos del juez que la dicto, jurisdicción judicial, nominas de los hijos que quedan con el padre y los que quedan con la madre. La partida e entonces cancelada. Tambien existe un espacio para nulidad. Ademas hay otro espacio en el cual se anotan los nombres de los hijos naturales nacidos antes del matrimonio de los contrayentes
1940 AL PRESENTE Defunciones: Nombres y apellidos del difunto; hora, día, mes y ano del deceso; causa de muerte, manera de comprobar la causa de defunción cuando no hubo asistencia médica; nombres, apellido, y titulo del médico que expidió el certificado de defunción; lugar donde se llevo a cabo el deceso (domicilio u hospital, ciudad, provincia, departamento), si el lugar es urbano, suburbano o rural, el tiempo de residencia en el lugar, residencia habitual de la persona fallecida, sexo, estado civil, edad; raza: blanco, mestizo, indígena u otra; hasta el año 1973 se anotaba si la persona era hijo legitimo o no; lugar de nacimiento, nacionalidad, profesión u ocupación u oficio; nombres y apellidos de: padre y madre, cónyuge.
