Project Leader: Amber Larsen
Purpose: The purpose of this project is to compile information on the Manors in each England county, along with a brief description of the manor's history.
Task List: Task List

Instructions[edit | edit source]

Part 1: Manor Information Spreadsheet[edit | edit source]

Each county/region has a section on Wikipedia listing all of their manors or other significant houses. You will be extracting some of the information from the pages about these manors and putting a brief summary into the spreadsheet Task List.

1. Click on the link under the "Task List" column for the county you are signing up for. That will take you to the spreadsheet tab for that county/region.

2. Next, click on the "Wikipedia" link for the county/region you are working for. That will take you to that section of the Manors Wikipedia page, giving links to additional pages for each manor.

3. When you arrive at the Manors Wikipedia page, locate the first manor from the spreadsheet task list on the Wikipedia page. The Wikipedia page is divided into sections by county/region.

4. Click on the link for the Wikipedia link for the first manor from your spreadsheet task list.

  • NOTE: If the link is red (see below), don't click on it. Go to the spreadsheet task list and write "RED LINK" in the Location (town/parish, etc.) column, and continue on to the next manor.
