is a tutorial that will help you with recognizing German words written in Kurrentschrift (German Gothic). In the website click on "Deutsche Kurrentschrift", then on the word "Übung". This will bring up textboxes, in which to enter any word. Then click on "umwandeln" and further down your word will appear in Kurrentschrift. To improve your ability to decipher a text written in German Gothic, practise with this tool by entering genealogical phrases from a German genealogical word list, i.e. geboren (born) gestorben (died) Heirat (marriage) etc.
