FamilySearch has acquired images of church records from various parts of the German Empire. The collection is not evenly distributed, however. German church records can be found by searching for the '''parish''' in the [https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/search FamilySearch catalog]. An increasing number have been digitized, but you may need to view the records at a family history center or affiliate library or be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to have access at home. These restrictions are the result of contractual obligations.
