*The Genealogical Society of Hispanic America-Southern California (GSHA-SC) was
founded in 1992 to promote Hispanic genealogical and historical research with a focus on the American Southwest and Mexico:
Arizona
California
Colorado
New Mexico
Texas
And Mexico

Our goal is to expand awareness and knowledge of individual Hispanic culture, history, and traditions.

We encourage the sharing of information through:
general meetings
The annual Viva la Familia Fiesta
lectures
workshops
research days
speakers' bureau
Chapter newsletter
national publications
You are invited to join almost 200 members, who are searching for their Hispanic roots. Affiliated with the national GSHA based in Pueblo, Colorado, we are part of a combined membership of almost 500 Hispanic researchers.

Whether you have just begun to explore your family lines, or you are an experienced researcher, please join us. We have members who are eager to help you begin your ancestral search, and as a group, we benefit from the knowledge that veteran researchers have to offer.

We are proud to represent a membership that is both willing and able to assist you in discovering a remarkably rich and colorful Hispanic heritage…a heritage in which you can be justly proud.

GSHASC is a 501(C)(3)non-profit California corporation #33-0589453, a nonprofit group maintained purely by volunteers.
