The FamilySearch Center is free and is open to the public. Reservations are not required for individuals needing assistance with research or to attend training classes.  However, the center's two computer classrooms can be reserved for group training.  Classroom A can accommodate 22 computer users and Classroom B can accommodate 28 computer users.  Please provide information concerning the type of training required and/or the purpose of your visit so we can arrange the appropriate support staff for your visit.

SCHEDULING A VISIT[edit | edit source]

The FamilySearch Center is free and is open to the public. Reservations are not required for individuals needing assistance with research or to attend training classes. However, the center's two computer classrooms can be reserved for group use. Classroom A can accommodate 22 computer users and Classroom B can accommodate 28 computer users. Please provide information concerning the type of training required and/or the purpose of your visit so we can arrange the appropriate support staff for your visit.

Group Classroom Visit[edit | edit source]

A. Have a FamilySearch account (same as LDS account)

B. Please be aware that if any of your group are 12 years or younger; they need to have setup their account at home with one of their parents.
FamilySearch requires “parent” authorization at the time youth are setting up their account.

C. PLEASE BRING MEMBERSIP NUMBER FOR EACH YOUTH THAT MAY NEED ASSISTANCE WITH THEIR LDS ACCOUNT

The time allotment is 75 minutes

1. We have two classrooms: A with 22 computer stations, and B with 28 computers stations

2. If you need more than 22 or 28, consider reserving both classrooms separately.

3. If you have over 50, call in and talk to Directors or Director of the day

1. Finding ancestor names to take to the temple using simple research FTT

2. Adding photos, stories, and memories to your family tree and computer time

3. Learn more about familysearch and computer time

4. Pioneer trek and finding names and stories of ancestors and computer time

5. Indexing basic workshop and computer time
