Contents: Birth registers: child’s given name; registration date and place, birth date; father’s name, age, occupation, and residence; mother’s maiden name and age; names, ages, occupations, and residences of godparents. Marriage registers: marriage date and place; names, ages, occupations, and residences of bride and groom; parents of bride and groom; usually also birthplaces of bride and groom; sometimes birth dates; names, ages, occupations, and residences of witnesses.
