Anzoátegui, is located in the northeastern region of the country and its territory it’s limited the states of Monagas and Sucre to the east, Bolívar to the south and Guárico to the west and limits the north with the Caribbean Sea. With the name of the great hero of independence, Jose Antonio Anzoátegui (1789-1819), this state has his own history.
