We will use MeetingPlace for the Community Meeting on 19 January 2010.

To Attend the Meeting:

  • Go to MeetingPlace or MeetingPlace Home and enter your Meeting ID 9111 and click the "Attend Meeting" button
  • If requested, Sign in with your LDS Account or as a Guest
  • Select the desired "Connect Me" options and enter the phone number that you want MeetingPlace to call you at
  • Click the Connect button

To Attend the Meeting Without Using your Computer:

  • Dial into 801-240-2663 (Local/International) or 877-453-7266 (US Toll-free)
  • Follow the prompts to enter the Meeting ID 9111 and join the meeting

First-time users should run the MeetingPlace Test to verify they can participate in a web meeting. Since November we have had problems calling into Adobe Acrobat for the audio portion of the meeting. I hope that by using MeetingPace, the audio portion of the meeting will be easier to join, and the recording of the meeting will also be improved.

Current Status of the New Login[edit | edit source]

Log in problem - please refer to discussion page. Also note that the current status of all known CIS log-in migration issues are documented in the FamilySearch Wiki Technical Support Forum. The Known Issues page identifies the issues and includes either a resolved or unresolved status.

  • Log-in not possible - resolved
  • Sign-in Fix for IE6/7/8
  • Log-in is much worse
  • Security certificate problem
  • After sign-in, user is redirected to special page
  • User signs in as themselves, but are signed in as someone else
  • Session time-out - short term resolution in testing
  • "My watchlist" is gone (for some) - resolved
  • Combine options still remains after combining is completed
  • Issues related to 3+ accounts being combined - resolved
  • Lost history/edits after combining accounts - resolved
  • "My contributions" is empty (for some?) - resolved

Glitch??[edit | edit source]

I am seeing this all over in both Firefox and IE Baker County, Oregon (change to any other page and still see it) 1 [edit] 2 [edit]

This started showing up last week. There aren't any comments about it in Wiki's Known Issues or in the Forums about this sudden appearance.

What's strange about it, "Edit" is displayed even if I am not signed in.

I am not sure I understand the first part. I understand that "Edit" is showing up whether someone is signed in or not. I would guess this started with the single sign-in as it does take one to the right page for signing on. That should be an easy thing to fix, but I personally would consider it a lower priority.
