The Tijuana Historical Archive (Archivo Histórico de Tijuana) houses an important collection of documents, photos, and newspaper archives that preserve the cultural memory of the city of Tijuana. This collection is available to researchers, students, teachers, and the general public.
Every month the archive holds conferences, seminars, video projections, and photo exhibits of the history of Tijuana.

Another useful archive for genealogical research is the state government´s archive of notarial records, the Archivo General de Notarías. On their website, you can order a copy of the document that you need to find your ancestor. Fees vary according to the kind of document you order.
