The book "Compendium of the War of the Rebellion" by Frederick H. Dyer contains no history for this unit[1] This company was formed from one company of men who re-enlisted from the 192nd Infantry which was to serve 100 days. Five other companies were recruited in the spring of 1865 in Gallipolis, Ohio. This company was mustered out in August 1865.
