Brief History
The 2nd Regiment, Arkansas Infantry was organized at Springfield, Missouri, and Fort Smith, Arkansas, October, 1863, to March, 1864. It moved to Clarksville December 31 and had duty there and at Fort Smith until August. The regiment mustered out August 8, 1865.[1]
