Come learn from our own Kay Speaks and Christine DeVillier as they tell us how they have used the resources of the center and its Salt Lake City parent to research their Chinese roots. All are welcome to attend. Schedule 12 P - BYO Lunch for an infomal discussion of discoveries and roadblocks so we can brainstorm research options - 1:30-3:30 - Orientation to the FHC followed by examples of research by Kay Speaks and Christine DeVillier, experienced genealogists. | <B>November 13</B> – Jewish Family History Open House: The Family History Center is delighted to be joining with the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Genealogical Society in celebration of Jewish Family History Month by hosting an open house on November 13 from 1 – 5 p.m. Experienced researchers will be on hand to assist beginners through advanced researchers in Jewish genealogy. Local researcher and author Ron Arons will present "Putting the Flesh on the Bones: Researching Why Our Ancestors Did What They Did." Bring your documents (copies only, no originals, please) and questions. The goal is for each attendee to find the answer to at least one question about his or her family history. <br> }}
