Our staff members are available to provide the patron with individual and group experiences. We will support you in your efforts to find and preserve your family history. We hope you come to feel the joy of connecting with family past, present and future.

Center Staff as a Resource[edit | edit source]

FamilySearch Library staff will show you how to use the center’s resources. To make your visit most effective a patron should collect and organize their information at home. Bring as much information as you have about the ancestor you wish to research.

Individual personalized assistance
Permission to view sources available only in the FamilySearch Library system
Group experiences tailored to your choice of activities and training experiences. Group Visits
Classroom seating for 25 persons, projection screen, and up to 65 computer stations
A wide variety of digitizing equipment
Video recording studio for filming and preserving individuals and their stories. Capacity of 15 persons

Thousands of Books Available[edit | edit source]

The Las Vegas Nevada FamilySearch Center has over 7000 genealogical related books. It is the largest collection of books in the FamilySearch systems second only to the FamilySearch Library collection in Salt Lake City.

Some of our collections include Mayflower Descendants, Germans to America, Civil War, Writings of Washington, Italians to America and much more.
