Steve, I'm trying to test a bug I experienced on the Pennsylvania page today and I'm wondering if you can tell me what this closing div template does. Thanks in advance! [[User:RitcheyMT|RitcheyMT]] 18:04, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

:Hi Michael, the purpose of the template is to transclude a {{xt|<nowiki></div></nowiki>}} tag into a page where coding it directly leads to a page getting messed up by the Rich Text Editor (RTE). I believe this happens when the RTE is being used to edit a page or section of a page that only contains the opening declaration, so when the page is saved the RTE adds an extra closing tag. I think that due to the way the RTE decides it knows better than the user, adding code not wanted/needed, that utilising templates to build all {{xt|<nowiki><div></nowiki>}} elements (for example {{tl|Scrolling table}}) and then transclude them into a page will prevent these problems from happening over and over again. Also one of the reasons that the right hand navigation bar keep getting pushed down the page is because it follows the main content code in the HTML. A left hand navigation bar would not encounter the same problems. --[[User:Cottrells|Steve]] 13:37, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
