This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Center, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.

Springfield Missouri South FamilySearch Center
The FamilySearch Center serves the south Springfield, Nixa, Republic, Ozark and rural areas around south Springfield, Missouri. Although there are scheduled hours for operation, a temple and family history consultant will be happy to meet with patrons at times convenient for them.

Please park on the south side of the church building. Ring the bell to the left of the doors for entrance to the center.

Inclement Weather

When Springfield Public Schools closes due to weather conditions, the FamilySearch Center will be closed. Additional closures due to inclement weather are decided on a case by case basis. Efforts will be made to post those closures on the Wiki page.

Effective Tuesday February 14, 2023 the center is open each Tuesday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00noon. In addition appointments can be made for other days and times. Call Sally Anderson (417) 830-6790 or Reynold Brown (801) 420-5522 to schedule an appointment. The center is closed all major holidays. The FSC will also close in the case of severe weather. The FamilySearch Center is closed when Springfield Public Schools cancels school due to inclement weather (snow days).
