Independent Company, Pennsylvania Acting Engineers

Brief History[edit | edit source]

This company was mustered in at Philadelphia 9 August 1862 and mustered out at Harper's Ferry 20 June 1865. It was also known as Wrigley's Independent Engineers and Company C.^[1]

The book "Compendium of the War of the Rebellion" by Frederick H. Dyer contains no history for this unit.^[2]
