Brief History[edit | edit source]
The 6th Regiment, West Virginia Infantry organized at Grafton, Taylor County, Mannington, Marion County, Cairo, Ritchie County, Parkersburg, Wood County and Wheeling, Ohio and Marshall Counties, West Virginia, August 13 to December 26, 1861.[1]
