Iran is a country in the Middle East bordered by Türkiye, Iraq, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. It was formerly ruled by the Ottoman Empire and Great Britain. The official language in Persian.^[1]
